Private Events

Please provide one adult chaperone per five children, for parties with youth climbers.

Birthday Party Options:

We offer 2 party options, “A” Party and “B” Party. They both have private climbing rooms, “A” Party also includes a private party room for festivities. Whereas, “B” party does not have a private room, but tables and chairs in the space next to the climbing area.

Pricing:

        Party rentals start at $299 and both party options ("A" and "B") include the following:

• 10 climbers

• $19.55 per climbing participant after 10, max 15

• A RoKC Host
• Private Climbing Room
• Gear Rental (shoes & harness)
• Orientation

Party Schedule:

• Check-in begins at your scheduled party time
• 15 minutes for tour and fitting gear
• 60 minutes in private climbing rooms
• 45 minutes for birthday party festivities--cake/food/presents with tables and chairs, table cloths, plates, cups, napkins, cutlery

Food and Drink from Apogee Coffee and Draft

You can order fresh pizza from Apogee! All orders will be delivered to the private party space just in time for hungry climbers. They also offer fantastic tap beer from local breweries. We just ask that no-one climbs after drinking. Apogee orders will be made the day of your event, but we need to know ahead of time if you will be ordering pizza. 

Outside food is prohibited within the facility. However, cake or other celebratory small desserts are allowed. Please keep in mind that we do not have the ability to refrigerate items.

Your party must be booked 2 weeks in advance and are available:

“A” Parties

• Saturday - 12:00 - 2:00, 2:30 - 4:30, 5:00 - 7:00  
• Sunday - 10:30 - 12:30, 1:00 - 3:00, 3:30 - 5:30

“B” Parties

• Saturday -  10:45 - 12:45, 1:15 - 3:15, 3:45 - 5:45
• Sunday - 11:45 - 1:45, 2:15 - 4:15

A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking and is applied to the total. Standard party comes with 10 climbers, with a max of 15 climbers for additional cost.

WAIVERS

Once your group is booked, everyone (participants and observers) will need to create a client account and sign a waiver. We will email the link to create an account and digitally sign our waiver. Waivers must be signed by a legal parent/guardian. EVERYONE walking around the facility needs a waiver signed, even if they're not climbing. Having this completed early will help ensure a smooth, quick sign-in process to get the participants climbing as soon as possible.

• Private party rooms available at both Olathe and NKC facilities!

• Olathe Full Facility:
  
  • $900 for 15 or less climbers + $19.55 for each additional up to a max of 60
• RoKC Kids Olathe:
  
  • $750 for 15 or less climbers +$19.55 for each additional up to a max of 30 
• RoKC North:
  
  • $800 for 15 or less climbers +$19.55 for each additional up to a max of 40 

• All Lock-ins are charged 10% gratuity on the total cost of the event on behalf of overnight hosts

Tentative Schedule:

• 8:15p- 8:30p Check-in: Arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to intended start time
• Food: 8:30p - 9p
• Climbing: 9p - 10:45p
• Games & Free Time: 10:45p-1a
• Movie Begins: 12:00a
• All Lights out and wind down 1a (movie continues)
• Wake-up: 7:15a
• Pick-up: 7:30a

Terms and Conditions

• All kids must be 7+
• One chaperone required for every 10 kids
• Arrive no earlier than 8p
• All kids are asked to bring their own water bottles, sleeping bags, and appropriate toiletries (We do not allow shower use during lock-ins)

Cancellation Policy: Rescheduling is available. In the event of a cancellation, we do not refund deposits, but can refund the remaining balance up to three weeks before the scheduled event. In order to cancel, simply contact privateevents@climbkc.com
